Mahogany travel writing case

Old mahogany and brass travel writing desk from the 19th century, good manufacturing quality with ornamental brass parts on the corners and a brass plaque on the top. Small space or hole on the right side which was to serve as a drawer or secret compartment (not sure of its nature) this is just the box alone, I don't have all the writing essentials that go with the box.
