This thick glass trinket tray, designed in the 1950s by Le Corbusier and Charlotte Perriand, perfectly illustrates the industrial and functional aesthetic of the modern movement. Inspired by the glass bricks used in architecture, this object has sober and refined lines, while highlighting the transparency and solidity of the material. With a square shape and measuring approximately 11.5 cm on each side and 6 cm in height, this model stamped "Lumax Recuite" testifies to the care taken in its manufacture. Its minimalist design allows it to be used as a trinket tray, paperweight or simple decorative object. The general condition is very good, with slight traces of use consistent with its age. A rarity for lovers of 20th century design and furniture.
