In its early years—during the Second World War—the company primarily manufactured fuses, junction boxes, and simple porcelain light fixtures. From 1948 onwards, RZB began producing all-glass light fixtures. This proved to be a resounding success. In the decades that followed, RZB became famous for its glass globe lights and ceiling fixtures featuring "clouded" or marbled opal glass. The brand exported these minimalist, functional designs in large numbers to the rest of Europe.
