Mado furniture

This authentic Mado buffet from the 1950s comes from a family home where it has endured the decades. It is an iconic piece of post-war French popular design, recognisable by its curved lines and shaped facades. What makes this model exceptional is the condition of its original glass: two frosted panes with a pattern of a liner at sea and a central niche with a fruit bowl decoration. All the glass is impeccable. General condition: The piece has been thoroughly cleaned and dusted with care. The wood is sound and robust. It is sold in its original patina, which gives it a true vintage charm. The metal handles and knobs are all present and have been revitalised. Please note (defects): Like any piece of furniture of this age, it shows some normal signs of use and slight scratches on the wood, but nothing that affects its sturdiness or aesthetics. It is ready to be installed as is or can serve as a perfect base for customisation. The piece separates into two parts for easier transport.
