2 FISCHEL chairs, Art Deco 1938 bistro, wooden seat

Pair of a bistrot model by fischel, no. 657 from 1938, very art deco and very simple in its lines. Here is one of the first models whose rear legs are square sectioned, this variation became widespread in 1950 and the front legs also became square sectioned. Beautiful plain seats, the glides are the original ones described in the attached catalog, “leather and screwed rubber”.
