Mid-century sconce from Limburg, 1960s

The plafond comes from the 1960s and was produced by glashütte limburg. The lamp shade is made of transparent thick glass. The surface of the lamp shade consists of countless spikes and geometric shapes. The result of this surface finish is scattered light, which spreads not only forward but also to the sides. It diffuses light, creating an extraordinary visual effect. Thanks to these functions it is ideal as a decorative backlight on the wall. The lamp can be mounted on the wall or ceiling. Luminaire has mounting holes. The base has a patina on it.
