Pair of Vintage Italian Onyx Ashtrays / Catchall Dishes – 1970s

Pair of sculptural vintage onyx ashtrays, handcrafted in Italy circa 1970s. Carved from solid banded onyx, each piece features unique natural veining and polished surfaces. Originally designed as ashtrays, they also make beautiful catchall dishes for jewellery, keys or other small objects, or simply as decorative stone accents. One piece features warm caramel, cream and rust banding, while the other has softer ivory and pale green tones. Approximate dimensions: Diameter: 9–10 cm. Height: 3.5–4 cm. Very good vintage condition with light signs of age. No major chips or cracks. Perfect for interiors in the postmodern, space age, Hollywood Regency or minimalist style.
