Old Caucasian carpet 142x105cm

A nice vintage rug in hand-woven wool from the caucasus measuring 142x105cm and in excellent condition. It features a red central medallion with vibrant yellows and blues in the surrounding patterns. It is in such good condition that it is difficult to date it even if I am told that it may date from the 1930s. There is no option to select caucasian as the origin of a carpet on the selency site, so I selected "persian", but it is not persian, it is caucasian. It is a beautiful little carpet, evoking the history and mysteries of the orient that will enhance any tasteful interior.
