Set of 8 animal-shaped knife rests signed Yorel, made in France, in an Art Deco style with clean and stylised lines. Each piece rests on a rectangular base and represents an animal, featuring a characteristic form work from the 1930s-1940s. The length is approximately 9 cm. The set has a beautiful antique appearance, with consistent signs of use: micro-scratches, slight irregular patina, a few marks, and subtle deformations due to age. No breakages are visible. The Yorel markings as well as the mention Made in France are present on each piece. They can also serve as chopstick rests, particularly for chic sushi evenings.
