Ferdinand Solere lamp with its blue reflector, 1950s

A 1950s lamp stamped Ferdinand Solere (1894-1961). The lamp is made of white lacquered metal with some brass parts. The square-section brass stem is telescopic and mounted on a weighted, swiveling circular base. The circular reflector still has its blue diffuser and houses two bulbs controlled by two switches. Note some wear to the paint on the lamp base (see photos). Base diameter: 19 cm. Reflector diameter: 33 cm. The stem can be adjusted from 32 to 55 cm. The height can vary from 44 to 57 cm.
