Superb Limoges porcelain coffee service signed A. Lanternier & Co. Lanternier is one of the emblematic houses of Limoges porcelain, known for its delicacy and hand-painted decorations, often produced for a wealthy and aristocratic clientele (tea, coffee, dinner). The set consists of 6 cups and their saucers, all in different colours (blue, green, yellow, black, red, and ivory), decorated with an elegant golden motif in a typical Art Deco style. Very beautiful visual effect, ideal for a chic vintage or collection table. Period: 1920s–1930s. Origin: Limoges, France. Manufacturer: A. Lanternier & Co. Decoration: golden motifs, careful finish. Harmonious and decorative set. Cup diameter 5.4cm, height 5cm. Saucer diameter 11cm. Set as good as new, appears to have never been used.
