Oil on canvas and wooden frame signed by the french painter léon gozare. Charming rural landscape where we follow these three characters walking across the bridge towards the village in the background. The figures are reduced to the essentials of their silhouette, the vegetation is however treated with detail. This vegetation envelops the three characters in the center of the composition, as if to signify the attention and affection given to them. A warm, tender and peaceful atmosphere emanates from this canvas which is otherwise in very good condition.
