Stools "duplex" by Javier Mariscal 1981 for BD Barcelona, Spain

The Duplex stool is the most emblematic object of the interior design project of the Bar D'in Valencia, which Mariscal designed with Fernando Salas in 1980. This stool was originally designed for the bar, it was then produced by BD Barcelona. Mariscal breaks the stereotype of a stool and goes without one of the four legs with a set of lines and movements. In 1981, the BD company Ediciones de Diseo launched the marketing of the stool until 2003. The Duplex stool is part of the Barcelona Design Museum's collection.
