Farm bench

Very nice solid wood farm bench with a beautiful patina: at least sixty years of use and probably more, have given the wood a beautiful color and a smooth touch... It was undoubtedly handcrafted for family use. The many brands also testify to its age and this artisanal manufacture: chips, sinking, punching, scratches and stains... And also holes of tendrils (which seem old to me, but which I still treated by injection of white vinegar). It is still very solid, with the thick "chevron" that reinforces the seat from below (original of course), and which makes that the seat does not curve despite the absence of a central foot and even if you sit in the middle. It is also well stable. I cleaned it carefully and simply put some antique wax on the seat. It is 183 cm long, 44 cm seat height. The seat is 25.5 cm wide and the base 31 cm wide. It weighs about 10 kg.
