Portrait of a young girl in pink, signed g.laperrière june 1888. Oil on canvas in its original gilded frame and painted with floral motifs overflowing onto the painting. 56 X 65 cm at sight, dimensions of the chassis 46 X 56 cm. Excellent condition. Painter, illustrator and decorative painter (★ strasbourg 29.3.1848). Natural son of marie laure augustine victorine aglaé paillard de laperrière. A pupil of pils, he worked first in paris, then in nice. A painter of earthenware at the beginning, he then became a portraitist, landscape painter, illustrator and decorative painter. Among his works are the decoration of churches in antibes and apt, that of the casino of bagnères de bigorre and the illustration of a book by chipots (1871), as well as that of archaeological and numismatic publications. He exhibited at the salon des artistes français.
