Coffee maker, Cona 60s

Very nice coffee maker "to depression" brand cona (modelrex kirby beard). Original and elegant design, it consists of a steel arm, 2 glass parts, a lid. The process is based on the principle of pressure/depression. The water is placed in the lower ball heated by an alcohol wick. Due to the rise in temperature, the volume of air contained in the ball expands and forms an overpressure that causes the hot water to rise into the tube of the tulip. It is in this tulip that the coffee infuses before descending to the ball via a filter (tissue or glass) thanks to the depression created by stopping the heat source. (the fuel tank of alcohol to be burned is integrated into the base). The cona brand has resumed production of new models in england as well, new filters and accessories are available.
