Renaissance style armchair

Restoration/Louis-Philippe style armchair in carved wood, finished in cerused wood (whitened patina with a weathered effect). The backrest is adorned with a carved crest featuring a floral and acanthus leaf motif, with scroll arms on tapered turned legs. The armchair has been completely reupholstered recently: the backrest and arms are dressed in a tropical botanical printed fabric (birds of paradise, palm leaves, fruits) on a white background with duck green piping, and the seat is in solid peacock blue velvet. A chic contrast between the ancient carved structure and a very contemporary graphic covering.
