This unique wool area rug is a fantastic example of turkish carpets woven in the late 20th century, circa 1970. The design features a large medallion and highly-decorative surrounding design. Woven with a bold red background with blue, brown and beige accents that make up the intricate medallion and symmetrical surrounding design. The design and palette of this wool rug make it the perfect accent rug, suitable for us as a bedroom, living room, dining room or entranceway rug. This carpet has been woven with only the finest materials including hand-spun wool and cotton that have been dyed with non-toxic, organic materials including flowers and plants.
