Classic armchair in steel tube in Art Deco style from the 1930s. The armchair features a dark green faux leather cover and a frame made of chrome tubes, which have been padded at the armrests. The seat cushion shows slight signs of wear on the seat but offers good seating comfort. It has been reinforced with a leather strap on one of the rear corners to protect it from the metal frame. The back cushion is in very good condition. The chrome frame has a slight patina but retains a nice shine. The armchair is attributed to American designer Gilbert Rhode and the Troy Sunshade factory in the United States, which produced several of these models. Probably made in the 1930s.
