Her work is characterised by a vigorous and powerful touch, often applied with a knife, a thick and present pictorial material that contrasts with her subjects full of delicacy and poetry. While she paints structured urban landscapes and still lifes with a poetic atmosphere, she is especially inspired by the expressions of human faces and childhood. Her work is populated with often imaginary portraits, harlequins, and children with expressive, tender, sad, or languorous gazes. She regularly exhibits at the Salon des Artistes Français, of which she is a member, and has received numerous awards, including the silver medal from the General Council of the Seine, the Press Prize at the Grand Prix de Peinture de Deauville in 1953, and the silver medal from the city of Paris.
