Blown glass vase by Claude Morin, made in his Dieulefit workshop and dated July 30, 1979. The model has a rounded body with thick walls, in opaque brown glass crossed with fine blue scrolls. The combination of these two tones creates a discreet effect of depth that highlights the simplicity of the form. This search for balance between color and volume is characteristic of Morin's work in the 1970s. Signed and dated under the base: Morin, 30.07.79. Bibliography: Claude and Florence Morin, Words and Wonders in Glass, Alain Bardin, Éditions Louvre Victoire, 2021.
