Capelle House Showcase

Display cabinet with sliding glass doors, made by Capelle in the 1960s in Montauban (82), in the South of France. Mahogany frame, back, and legs; exterior in varnished mahogany veneer; interior in varnished sycamore veneer; lower section closed by two hinged doors with a gold lock and key. Display cabinet: 2 sliding doors, 1 half-shelf. The two vertical glass panels are slightly angled and reversed. The sliding rails are finished with a brass strip; adjustable, tapered legs on gold-plated brass. Overall in very good condition, with a few scratches on the varnish (upper left side). The different wood species create attractive color contrasts. 0209001me.
