Tambour cabinet. An excellent example of a lockable (key included) oak tambour office haberdashery cabinet by abbess. Circa 1940. The unit features drawers with original nameplates. Traditionally offices opted for tambour doors because they are saving space as you don't have to allow for the door swinging open.
