Armchairs 'AX' design Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen - Edition Fritz Hansen

Pair of armchairs "ax" - design by peter hvidt & orla mølgaard-nielsen in 1947 - edition fritz hansen. Inspired by the eames' lcw chair, this chair became a big hit and the centerpiece of their career. Multiplex teak veneer & solid wood (beech), seat and backrests covered with new blue interglobe wool fabric of the gabriel brand - 76 X 74 X 61 cm. The two chairs come from two different editions. One has 4 screws in the feet at the height of the ba, the other not. Note that on the one with screws, one of the 4 screws is missing. Very good general condition.
