Albert Hansen wall system in rosewood and Danish chrome.

Rare modular wall system from the "Excellent" line, produced by Albert Hansen (Denmark) in the 1960s. This design is attributed to Sven Ellekaer. This wall unit is made of rosewood with metal details and slats. In some close-up photos, the wood appears slightly reddish, but this is not the case in reality. The combination of chrome and rosewood creates an elegant and warm mid-century modern style. A minimalist design with refined details, such as beveled edges and beautiful handles. Thanks to the curvature of the rails and the springs at the back of the doors, they align perfectly when closed: an ingenious and unprecedented system! (See the video below) This wall system consists of three slats, one large and three small sliding door cabinets, a display case, a chest of drawers, four shelves, and a desk shelf. The arrangement of the elements is fully customizable. Three matching rosewood back panels are also available optionally and can be attached between the metal slats.
