Wall light by Ettore Sottsass for Ikea, 1980s

Vintage wall lamp produced by IKEA Netherlands in the 1980s, designed by the renowned Italian designer Ettore Sottsass. A pure embodiment of Memphis Milano style, with its vibrant colors and distinctive geometric shapes. The structure is made of wood and metal, with details in colored plastic (white, blue, red, yellow). A unique feature: the switch is operated by a cord ending in a yellow ball. Dimensions: H. 19 X W. 20 X D. 10 cm. E14 socket – max. 40W (compatible with 110/220V). A rare and playful design piece that casts a beautiful ambient light.
