Jumbo Carrara Marble Italian Square Coffee Table by Gae Aulenti For Knoll, 1960s

An early Mid-Century Modern Jumbo coffee table designed by Gae Aulenti (Italy, 1927-1972) for Knoll. Crafted from Carrara marble, it features a square tabletop with four cylindrical cluster legs. This piece is in very good condition and is considered one of the masterpieces by the renowned Italian designer Gae Aulenti. Gae Aulenti (1927-2012) was a prominent Italian architect and designer known for her work on museum interiors and iconic furniture designs. This table is documented in Giuliana Gramigna's 'Repertory of Italian Design 1950-2000' (p. 111, Allemandi, 2003).
