Blue jar martaban style 19th century

Very nice martaban style jar from the 19th century. Its turquoise blue glaze called "kingfisher" with oxidations indicates a production of shiwan ovens in the province of guandon. It is decorated with birds and stylized plants. This type of jar was used to store food and water in the house and during boat rides. They were also used to package chinese porcelain for export.
