Pieff ‘lisse’ dark ash dining table with chrome base 1970s

An original untouched pieff dining table from the 1970s ‘lisse’ collection. The ash top is finished in a dark colour with the black ash grain highlighted. A few small age related marks to the edge as seen in the photographs but overall in excellent order. In addition, the table comes with its original table matt, the first we’ve seen and was probably supplied by heals of london, the table matt is in three sections and covers the complete table top, it has a superb leather top finish and an burnt orange material to the bottom to match the chairs which would have originally been purchased as a set (now available separately – see other listing). The table has a chrome base, retains all its original rubber feet, the chrome has a few age related marks but generally in very good condition. The table top sits on the frame and can be removed for moving. A superb example from renowned designer tim bates for pieff.
