6 Dieulefit plates R. Milon green and yellow glazed earthenware

6 glazed earthenware plates from Dieulefit (Drôme). A beautiful bicolour set consisting of 3 deep green plates and 3 honey yellow plates, featuring a nuanced and slightly satin finish. The scalloped edge with successive mouldings is highlighted by a dark brown line, typical of Dieulefit productions from the post-war period. The variations in shade and depth of glaze reflect small-batch production, resulting in a lively and warm appearance. Stamped (except for one) R. Milon Poterie Dieulefit: Atelier Mourre & Milon, active in Dieulefit since the 1950s. In excellent vintage condition, with some discreet signs of use and three micro chips (see photos). Diameter 23 cm. A bright set with bold tones, combining relief, elegance, and presence.
