Louis XV style writing table - Bois De Rose - 19th

Magnificent eventful writing table in louis XV style and napoleon III period. This writing board is worked mainly in rosewood and different species of wood in marquetry. It opens to a belt drawer, two doors on top and a system flap. This piece of furniture can also be used as a lectern thanks to this lid sheathed in its original patinated leather. The table features rich marquetry with village decorations, landscape and animals on the belt and doors. The doors reveal storage spaces; on the right there is the location for inkwells (not present). It rests on four thin and arched feet very elegant dressed in bronze hooves. It is a very fine work and very good quality as much in the design as the curling and marquetry. The height with the flap deployed is 100cm. A trace of restoration on the belt. Fully restored and re-varnished to the stamp.
