Decorative and small 19th century gold gilt louis philippe mirror. This beautiful antique french gold gilt mirror is a typical louis philippe mirror. It has the typical rounded upper corners that make it a louis philippe mirror and is stunning with its clean and elegant lines. The gold leaf gilding of the frame shows some slight red bole through the gilding, giving the gold a warm touch. The mirror frame is structurally healthy and the mirror contains its original antique mirror plate. The glass is slightly foxed, in a nice way, so it still possible to see yourself in the mirror. The mirror has its original back cladding and is in a very good state in general. Condition: wear is consistent with age and use. Overall good condition, with usual wear, scratches, minor losses to gilding. Nicely foxed mirror glass.
