Syrian tea table. 19th.

Syria, circa 1880. 6-foot folding tea table made of carved wood with mother-of-pearl inlay. Tinned copper tray. The tinmishing, partially disappeared, wear of time. (see photos) Very thick tray, decorated with stylized flowers and arabic calligraphy. Good general condition, some traces of xylophage. No lack of mother-of-pearl. Plateau - 57 cm diameter. Table height - 62 cm.
