Art Nouveau table extendable dining room

Dining room table, art nouveau period, in solid walnut, up to 2.74m, resting on 4 feet carved in elegy ending with a very vegetal shape, all in roundness. Large extension table with 4 additional turned legs that fold under the tray. These feet are maintained by an original hardware store (on one side) bearing the brand sgdg V.f in paris: that of vachette frères, essential manufacturer of locksmith since 1865, which supplied among others all the parisian cabinetmakers, of the faubourg saint antoine, at the end of the nineteenth century. Very nice tray of 114cm by 124cm, which can accommodate 4 seats in this configuration and 10 in the open position, in a very pleasant way. Fully cleaned table, waxed finish, very beautiful patina, traces of use and xylophagous insects treated. Magnificent typically art nouveau feet connected by a spacer, reminiscent of those of hector guimard. We do not have the original extensions, their location measures 150 by 114cm so would require 3 extensions of 50cm by 114. Unsigned table in the taste of the school of nancy, of beautiful workmanship, ready to be installed. Dimensions: 73cm high (63cm under the belt), 124cm wide in closed position, 274cm open and 114cm deep.
