Article: Umbrella stand in style of Matégot. Origin: France. Age: 1950s. This original vintage umbrella stand element was produced in the 1950s in France. It is made of solid metal in a white lacquered tone with perforated hole pattern reminiscent with the design of Mathieu Matégot. The stand of the tripod and top ring are made of solid brass. Straighforward and minimalistic design of the 1970s French design era. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home. The design of this piece remembers in the of Mathieu Matégot. Due to aging effects the metal has a nice patination. Dimensions: Height 48cm. Diameter 22cm. Condition: This item is in a good vintage condition with normal traces of use and a patina. Some rusty spots on the white metal parts caused by water influence due to years of using, please see images.
