Large Antique Wedgwood Etruria "Poterat" Oval Serving Platter - 39 cm

Magnificent large oval serving platter in fine earthenware (Queensware) by the renowned English manufacturer Wedgwood, from their historic Etruria line. This platter features the exquisite "Poterat" pattern (dating around 1915), inspired by classic French Rouen earthenware design. It showcases a vibrant central polychrome flower basket (in shades of blue, orange, and yellow) enclosed by a rich cobalt blue scalloped border filled with pomegranates and foliage motifs. • Backstamp: Fully marked on the reverse with "Poterat - Wedgwood Etruria England - Made in England" and hand-painted artisan numbers. • Condition: Beautiful vintage/antique condition. The colors and glaze remain bright and well-preserved. Please note: there are two minor, discrete chips on the underside of the outer rim. They are completely invisible from the front and barely noticeable from the back (please see detailed photos). A wonderful piece for an elegant table setting or a fine porcelain collection. CODE 7.
