Equipale leather armchair, folk art - Mexico, 1970s

Superb vintage armchair in wood and leather, made by Equipale in Mexico in the 1970s. This chair has an exotic woven wood frame covered in beautiful ostrich leather. Entirely handmade, it reflects the know-how and traditional design of Mexican artisans. Very beautiful patina color for its genuine leather seat, in excellent condition. On the back, on one of the wooden bars, a slightly faded black stamp inscription reads: HECHO MEXICO. Its woven wood frame and ostrich leather give it a unique style, combining craftsmanship and traditional design. Unlike more recent models still produced today, this one is a true vintage original. A comfortable seat full of character, ideal for adding a cultural, rustic and elegant touch to your interior.
