Dark brown studio chair from the german brand bombenstabil from the 1930s. Bombenstabil püfferdreh d.r.p mainly made seating furniture from the 1930s, such as: office chairs, studio chairs, stools and kitchen chairs. They are known for their special suspension under the seat. This is a large thick spring that is tapered and provides a very comfortable seat. The sprung backrest is adjustable in height and from front to back. The backrest is always tilted by itself by a spring, as in one of the last photos. To keep it straight for the eye, we put a cork in between. We have seen this before with bombenstabil chairs in the past. This cork is of course easy to remove. Of course, this chair has been restored where necessary and provided with a layer of wax. This chair has been repainted dark brown in the past. The seat of this studio chair is adjustable in height from a minimum of 47 cm to a maximum of 52 cm. H 83 / w 40 / d 45.
