"Fjorton" red lamp by Tatsuo Konno for IKEA – Vintage 1990

The famous table lamp "Fjorton" is an original creation by Japanese designer Tatsuo Konno for IKEA. Often nicknamed the "dinosaur egg" lamp. This light fixture consists of a stunning ovoid globe made of brightly coloured opal glass that anthropomorphically rests on a pair of small matte grey aluminium feet, giving it a unique and sculptural appearance. Perfect as a night light, bedside lamp, or ambient lighting on a sideboard, it emits a soft, warm, and enveloping light. In very good vintage condition. The electricity is functional and the label under the base is perfectly preserved.
