Strafor furniture 40 flaps - Exceptional

Exceptional flap cabinet STRAFOR – Forges de Strasbourg, dating from the late 1920s / early 1930s (probably 1928). A true piece of French industrial furniture, which has now become a fully-fledged decorative object. This particularly imposing model features 40 flaps arranged over 4 columns, with very beautiful original hardware: label holders, handles, corner reinforcements, and numerous brass details. The famous oval plaque STRAFOR – Forges de Strasbourg is still present on the front. The cabinet has been carefully stripped to reveal the metal and its patina, while highlighting the brass elements. The overall piece now has a superb raw, deep, and warm finish that emphasises its industrial character without losing its authenticity. The proportions, the graphic repetition of the 40 fronts, and the brass details make it a particularly spectacular piece.
