Hanging lamp designed by fritz schlegel for lyfa. Danish architect fritz schlegel designed this bell-shaped lamp for lyfa, called p295, but better known as the schlegel lamp, in 1938. It remained in production for more than four decades. This example, in solid brass. The lamp has a diameter of 44 cm and a height of 30 cm and is in super good condition, with only minimal signs of use, no dents or dings. It comes with its original integrated ceiling shade and height adjustment, both of which are made of soft and malleable brass, unlike the lampshade itself which is hard and strong. I have not attempted to polish the brass. A work of art and a real eye-catcher. A new white fabric cord has been fitted for safety.
