Vintage Design - Extendable Dutch Oak Side Table, Late 19th Century - with history on the back. A classic wooden table with a sturdy construction, crafted from high-quality oak in a warm brown shade. The tabletop features marquetry with delicate embellishments along the edges. The table has an extendable function, allowing for an increased surface area thanks to its side leaves. Solid, turned legs with a barrel-shaped design add elegance and stability. Crossbars reinforce the legs, giving the entire piece a harmonious and compact appearance. On the back of the table there is a manual with owners: from the possession of Mr. F.A.T. Were, born 25-11-1820 in The Hague; his son: Eng. J. Were, born 18-3-1852; his son: Dr. H.J.M.
