Decorative ceramic plate from Vallauris – Relief ski scene

Superb decorative ceramic plate (earthenware) signed on the back "VALLAURIS AM" (Atelier Madoura or a very influential workshop in Vallauris). It features a hand-painted scene of winter sports in high relief: two skiers in the foreground racing down a slope, closely followed by a third skier in the background. The decoration includes snow-covered mountains and snowy fir trees. A rare collectible piece from the golden period of Vallauris, perfect for chalet decor or for a collector.
