Simple and functional secretary desk by Hundevad, made in Denmark. This versatile piece combines clean lines with the warm tones of teak and can be used as a workspace, shelving unit, or simply as a calm and elegant addition to a room. The drop-down compartment opens to create a practical writing surface and, when closed, gives the secretary a discreet and refined appearance. The open shelves provide space for books, files, or personal objects, while the lower section offers additional storage behind two doors. The left-hand side features a series of small drawers. All shelves are height-adjustable, while the tapered wooden legs give the piece a light and airy appearance despite its substantial dimensions. In good vintage condition, with only minor signs of wear consistent with its age. The surface has been repolished. Designed by Poul Hundevad and produced by Hundevad & Co. in Denmark in the 1960s, reflecting the principles of Danish Design and Scandinavian Mid-Century Modernism.
