Iconic modular lounge or waiting-room set by the German design brand Wilkhahn, model 712/8, designed by Hans Peter Piehl in the 1970s. This design was awarded 'Die gute Industrieform' in Hanover in 1974 – an important quality and design label. The set consists of two low armchairs with a matching connecting or side table. Thanks to the modular system, the elements can be placed separately or combined. Manufacturer: Wilkhahn (Germany). Designer: Hans Peter Piehl. Model: 712/8. Period: approx. 1970–1975. Materials: steel/zinc frame, integral foam, fabric upholstery, and plastic tabletop. Colour: warm brown with dark frame. Condition: Good vintage condition with signs of use appropriate for its age.
