A genuine Wébé dining table with a flip-top designed by Louis van Teeffelen. This 'Milaan' model was and still is a table in the higher segment and of very fine quality. By flipping the intermediate leaf, you get a table with a length of over 1 meter 70 cm, suitable for seating 6 people. When folded, the table does not take up too much space. The tabletop has a characterful patina, no deep scratches or rings, and a beautiful deep colour, entirely appropriate for its age and use. There are some colour variations between light and dark, but this only adds to its characterful appearance. Already provided with an almost invisible semi-matte coating that will protect the table against grease, dirt, and moisture, so the table is ready for daily use. The model is very well constructed and a very successful design that is elegant yet somewhat robust. A timelessly beautiful model, made of solid afromosia teak and fine veneer parts, ready to last for decades. Country of origin: Netherlands. Manufacturer: Wébé. Designer: Louis van Teeffelen.
