Rare Magazine Rack from the House of Christian Dior / Design Gabrielle Crespi.

Here is a rare piece from the ecological Home collection of the Maison Christian Dior from the 1970s. Superb lucite and rattan cane magazine rack, designed in collaboration with the famous Italian designer and interior decorator Gabriella Crespi (1922/2017) Material: transparent lucite (Plexiglas) with inserted rattan cane. In perfect condition: no marks, scratches or defects. Dimensions: - Height: 25.2 cm - Width: 29.5 cm - Depth: 9.5 cm - Weight: 1.2 kg A perfect decorative object while being utilitarian. This model of magazine rack was also made of tortoiseshell, and later in leather. It is well known and appreciated by designers.
