Khatam box made by iranian craftsmen in shiraz (iran) Dimensions: h 6.5 l 19.5 d 12.5 cm. "khatam" means "inlay". The "khatam" box is decorated with patterns (often star-shaped) made with thin wooden chopsticks, camel bones (white parts) and metal, usually copper or brass (golden parts). The work is done by hand.
