During jørgen gammelgaard's stay in samoa in the 1960s, a single fluorescent lamp was the only light he had, inspiring him to create the unique design of the tip-top pendant. After its presentation, the pendulum was immediately purchased by the danish arts foundation. Tip-top pendants are made in a beautiful and minimalist design in the very best quality. The lamp is composed of 6 shades in hand-printed black lacquered metal, which spread a downward pleasant light without glare and a lampshade in aluminium. It is a newer version, produced by pandul denmark (from new they cost about 1000 € on offer) label present inside the lamp. Material: aluminium/metal. Colour: black with silver top.
