A still life painting featuring a bouquet of anemones, flowers of late winter, in various shades, in a blue vase. Signed at the bottom right Henri Buron. Under glass with a mount; label from the artist's studio on the reverse. Period: around 1950. Henri BURON (1880-1969). Dimensions visible 39.5 X 31.5 cm. Good condition. Ref adequantik 2202109. Henri Lucien Joseph Buron (1880-1969), French painter. Painter of portraits, nudes, landscapes, and still lifes. A student at the École des Beaux-Arts in Rouen and then Paris, he attended classes by François Cormon and Albert Lebourg. He was a professor at the École des Beaux-Arts in Rouen. In 1935, a member of the Salon des Artistes in Paris, he was awarded a gold medal, out of competition, and then in 1937, a third medal at the Exposition Universelle.
